What kind of skids and what up ? Mine took a little modification to get right but it wasnt too bad, totally worth it

No modification needed but the weight of them with my springs. I have 600 lbs springs but others who have ran skids with this same set up said it just didn't support the weight well including the sliders.

Chris what is the total weight of the skids and sliders? Less than 250lbs? You'll be fine.

Maybe if you put a 250lb bumper hanging off the front you'd have an issue but the sliders and skids will be carried by both front and rear suspension.

Alright. Now I have to make time to install them.

Itd like having a fat guy like me riding in the truck, hardly noticeable

Hey guys,

Has anyone been to any of these off-road parks? They are all located in Maine. If anyone's got any feedback, pro's or con's please post away!

All Whels Off-Road Park
Wicked Hills Off-Road Park
Rocky Mountain Terrian Park

I'm thinking that we could have a weekend meet & greet & wheel at one of them sometime over the summer. I'm more than willing to do the leg work to put this together including going up to check them out if nessecary.

If you're interested in a w/e in the woods of Maine or if you have any info or preference post it here

I've heard good things about all wheels off road park.

As for "why not Putnam?" We chose to go Middleton because its new. Apparently there are LOTS of cool trails!

Thats a bit far so....maybe. Why not Putnam? The place is cool!

Yup! Plus he's got fully adjustable c/o's so worst case a couple turns on each :boink:

I'm down to do Putnam soon. This is more or less our local spot and just want guys to check it out. Putnam is bigger , but since charlie and I kind of set up this run I don't feel comfortable leading people around up there. If Alex couldn't go like this week we would be wandering around out there.

I'd probably go up there, honestly I keep getting invited to rausch and the others in jersey because I know some fj guys down that way. Hard to make time for long trips so I have been trying to discover and utilize trails in CT as much as possible. Maine is known for good trail systems though and I'd love to go there as well.
