Hey Alex the runner/bike combo look sweet. Makes a nice pair together. Now that trailer needs a little touch up. Maybe a salsa red racing stripe or something.

I too need to work on my Trailer. I nought a small 4x5 utility trailer but in selling it to Charlie. Then I bought an old military trailer an M416. It's street able but needs some cosmetic work and tires, and still have to hook up the wiring. Not sure what color I'm going with yet.

I've seen them range from 300 for a fixer upper to 2000 all tricked out. I will look for the build thread for the Barbour freight one.

Hey guys, I'm new to offroading, so far have a 2.5 inch Bilstein/Toytec lift, and 265/70 Grabber AT2's.
What would I want to add for the Middletown trails? Is there entry level vs expert terrain there?
Stock front skid now, so better to add a tranny skid atleast?
No sliders, just stock running boards which I am ok with beating up a bit. Was thinking Shrockworks bolt on sliders eventually.
The 4Runner is my daily driver so have to keep it reliable and generally undamaged mechanically.

I'd go to a full 3" lift, sliders, 33's, full skids (check out RCI, they have a full set for like $500!!!).
I'd do a gauge swap and a 1/2" body lift too

I think you will be fine over there. The rock aren't too big over there so your 2.5" of lift is good enough. All you need is to get out there and drive your truck. The more wheel time you have will make you a better driver. There are a few bypasses for the hard spots but they aren't too bad to begin with.

Will sealy likes to down play Middletown a bit. You will probably be fine the way you are but I routinely smash the shit out of my skid plates at Middletown. I ripped my rear bumper pretty bad and blasted my skids a few times on Sunday. We had a guy destroy his stock skids ( which are usless) on a recent run. Charlies wheel bearing fell apart on the exit ramp (sketch)We have bough stock trucks through there but I guess its part luck, part skill and also depends on how crazy you want to get. Its a guaranteed good time but I like to warn people. I'm fully armored , lifted, and run those trails all the time and I still leave with damage.

From what I can tell now, it looks like I need to get my new skid plates from Stamford, CT and I can meet you in Boston. Hopefully it's on your way so you don't go out of your way and I don't have to reimburse for gas lol. I'm broke as shit. If I had the extra $30, I would just go down to CT and get em myself.

Hmm reading it sounds like i should really get the full skids.. I would love to meet up with you guys, just have the 3" toytec and duratracs now...
