New Falken AT tire (A/T3W)

I have over 35K on my set with 2 winter/summer cycles with off road action throughout and these tires are incredible. I am about due for another set and I will be going up from stock size. I am interested to hear how the 33's due for mileage and any perceptual power loss. I live in Anchorage Alaska.

Yes 285s. Running the Toytec lift, with 1.5" rear coil instead of 2". Thanks! Really love the look and ride quality. Only driven about 50 miles on them, but driven on back roads and highway up to 80mph and couldn't be happier!

I’m right there with you. I’ve been lurking reading posts about falken offering that size and then not offering it. The good news is I’m not in a huge rush for tires but I hate the stock bridgestones. Hopefully they actually make it and price it good.

If they come out with them, ill replace my 265's pretty quickly.

Ordered a set for my 4Runner after loving them on my 16 taco. For anyone wondering (like I was) the 2 ply sidewall wraps around the bead and goes back up the sidewall to the top of the lettering (making 4-ply thickness). The only 2-ply only piece of the sidewall seems to be in between the agressive upper lugs that are arrow shaped. I read about it on the falken website but was curious how far it went back up the sidewall. Pleasantly surprised these are nice and thick! I didn’t check this out before mounting to my taco so while the new ones are in my garage I explored them a bit. Phenomenal tires, regardless of price...that’s just a bonus.

I had to trim my front fender and front mud flap. No BMC on 6112/5160 combo with 285 70/17

~30k miles. Still quiet and wearing well. At current wear rate could easily see another 30k miles out of the tires. Will likely be switching to 35s before that point though. I can measure again, but think I'm right around 14/32s all the way around.
