I'd encourage everyone interested in this size to reply to the Facebook post mentioned earlier in this thread, maybe then they will respond. I've sent several emails to their customer service link on their site and have received zero responses.

one more thing...When you ordered toytec lift did you just request 1.5 rear springs in place of the standard 2? Is there still a small rake? Thanks

Yeah it’s a call in item, just call them and tel them you want to swap for 1.5” coil. It doesn’t look like there’s any rake at all. I will measure later today, but looks to be perfect.

Absolutely LOVE mine!
I also came from the Toyo Open Country AT2's. Either choice is a win from what I've been told. Haven't had them long enough to reflect on tire wear or adverse weather grip. But these look so much more aggressive though.
Oh, and I have the Spidertrax wheel spacers too.

How did they sound on the hwy compared to the Toyo's? I am looking at these but not if they are noisier that the Toyo's

Been running Toyo's for 10 years now. Near as quiet as the Toyo's.
Absolutely no regrets!
The toytec 2" pro lift is a spacer for the front and springs for the rear

Well I made the switch from the At3w to Falken Wildpeak MT01s. The change had little to do with the performance of the AT since it handled everything I threw at it, I just wanted a MT and larger tire. Though the improved performance in mud will be nice, that's the one downfall for the AT.

I recently did this too. I went from 265 P rated AT3Ws to 285 MT01s. I did it because I wanted to go bigger and just a better offroad performer. I switched because going 40 on a rocky trail in P rated 20psi tires is no bueno. I hit a rut that I didnt see and slashed or pinched the sidewall. Overall I'm happy with the MTs, I just hate the 1-2 mpg decrease. Not sure how much I'd gain back if I switch to 285 ATW3s...

Falken Wildpeak AT3W LT285/70R17 traction
Last April I put Falken Wildpeak AT3W LT285/70R17. I installed the ICON Stage 7 tubular lift at the same time. I like the added clearance it provides.
Last weekend I did a steep dirt and rock trail, Miller Run in Frazier Park, CA. The tires had great traction all the way up. We climbed 3 tall peaks with some very challenging terrain. With the locking diff set most of the way the 4Runner never spun the wheels or lost traction. I was with a bunch of guys and gals that had lifted Jeeps with bigger tires than I did. They did not have any more traction than I did. There was a stock Nissan Xterra with decent tires in the group that did very poorly. I think he had AWD, not 4WD.

layball:Hey Ted. With all the windows up I honestly can tell zero difference from these and the highway tires I had on before. I was expecting to hear at least slightly more road noise, but that was not the case. I've taken it up to 60mph only so far, but I doubt an exrta 10 will create an enormous roar. If you have all the windows down you can hear them slightly more than the highway ones, but it's pretty negligible.
I'm sure they will probably get a little louder in a couple years as they wear more. From what i understand, all the A/T tires do, but it's a great sign that they start off so quiet.
