Anyone have 10k + miles on them? How's road noise now? My Duratacs have 15k on them and the howl is so bad I though my bearings we're going out.

My buddy has some on his tundra and are almost bald at about 30k. He got some road noise. I saw this tread wear across a couple friends so I went with the BFG KO2.

I got my P265/70-17 Falkens installed this evening. Too late to take pics, but I took before pics and will take the afters tomorrow for those interested in seeing a stock suspension TEP with these tires...
I would be disappointed to only get 30k out of these, but we will see... my initial impressions... They balanced well and were smooth. More road noise than my stock B-stone Dueller H/Ts, but I would not call them loud. They are also on the heavy side. 46lbs. Tha's kinda high for a P tire. I could feel it in acceleration and the eco light wasn't as quick to come on but I haven't driven it enough to know that for a certainty. I'm sure it will affect mileage somewhat, but hope it's not too much. We'll see...

This. And my Duratracs have tons of tread not even close to looking worn other than some odd tread height between lugs and the horrible howl

So far I've wheeled these in the dry dirt (excellent), snow/ice (very good), rain/slick (excellent), mud (ok).
I was going to say good in the mud but honestly I can't do that, they slid around a bit but it's an AT not really meant for owning mud. Wheeling with me of note was a Rubicon on 34" KO2s that caked up and slid as well as some other guys on TOYO ATs and Hankook ATs. There was a guy with an LC who had the MTs in 35" and he ate up the trail, worth looking into if you get in the mud alot.
The guy with the LC did say he preferred his previous KO2s on road though so it's always a bit of a give and take with tires.

Mine have about 12k in them, still look like new and the are excellent in snow, ice and sand, I haven't run them in mud yet, as far as noise is not bad at all and it only seems to be noisy in concrete type roads. Mine are lt's 285's View attachment 234740

Got some pics of before and after. Not great pics, but it's better than nothing. Even though these are the same Nominal size as my stock Dueller H/Ts (P265/70-17) these are a little larger. I picked up about 3/16" in height as measured from ground to fender which makes a diameter increase of approx 3/8".

Posted some pics in the 4th gen area but forgot to update this thread.. really liking the tires so far.
Do you think that a 265/70/18 AT3W would fit on an '07 with stock suspension and a Daystar 2.5" Spacer Kit?
You may have to push the fender well forward some, or trim it a touch, but should prob not have too much issue.

First 3400 miles and snow/ice report
Drove from Houston to Dillon Colorado the week after X-mas. We got to slosh around in the snow/ice in summit county a good bit. Very impressed. Rarely had to go into 4wd. Up and down lots of paved and non paved roads that had varying levels of snow and ice. We did a little comparison between a jeep liberty with some "mountain snowflake tires" (2/3 used up pathfinders) and the t4r with the new AT/3W's. The t4r in 2wd simply crushed the jeep. no comparison. It would have been interesting to see AT/3w's on the jeep. Probably would have made a lot of difference.
After 3400 miles of mostly highway driving these tires still have the little nips from manufacturing visible on the tread. So I'm very pleased about the wear rate.

Nearing 15k miles, survived a wet and muddy hunting season and a few nasty ice/snow storms without incident. They aren't blizzaks or MT/R's but they do just fine for my purposes. I don't miss the wheelspin of the OEM tires in the wet.
This was a pretty large screw; the head was flush with the "lugs" before I started to pull it out. Same tire as the previous object, perhaps it is cursed. No puncture but it was pretty deep.

Can't say for sure but I think they would. My issue with rubbing must come from the wider wheels as those running the stock 17x7.5" don't seem to have as many issues.
