New from Philly

Hey Everyone,

I've lurked around for a while, but this is my first post.
I'm a Junior at the University of Pennsylvania, on my second t4r
I have an '03 Limited with 95,000 miles on it and I've done some very basic things to it - added a push bar, new head unit, dual USB charger in switch blanks, radar detector hard-wire with mute control in switch blank, KC day lighters on push bar.
Really just here to learn more, get inspired for new ideas and do things the right way. Looking forward to my membership on the forum and thanks for all the help I've gotten to date.

Welcome. You must be really smart to be going to that school and having 2 toyotas so far. Do you live in Philly or are just going to school there?

I'm just in school here for another year. I'm originally from outside NYC in northern NJ. My first was an 02 SR5 and it was my dad's old t4 - it eventually died after getting rear ended with 350k miles.

You should come done and wheel with us. Look for "Pine Barrens NJ" offroad trips under off roading thread. Post some pics of your truck.

I've been to the pine barrens a few times and gone on a few wimpy sand trails, but never anything major. I considered a lift etc., but this is my daily driver, I drive a lot and I get horrible gas miles as is. I would definitely be interested in taking it on some easy trails and I'll post some pics tomorrow. I just started another thread about my interior (nothing too exciting) over in the 4th Gen forum.
