Theyve made the tread pattern more street friendly by reducing lug voids but kept the great snow siping. I suspect that off road traction will suffer a but because of this which wont matter because 99.9% of people running this tire wont notice. The v1 Duratrac has been a great tire for my Jeep TJ that sees very technical terrain. No sidewall issues yet despite being a dedicated rock crawler.

I managed 3rd gear wheelspin on wet pavement and noise with duracraps on my Tacoma. I prefer the Toyo AT3s.

Yea, looks like a good alternative to the Wildpeaks, Toyo AT3s and the like. And i bet they are even better in the rain/snow then the original Duratracs which have been great for me so far. I do like the more mud terrain design of the ordinal though for my off roading.

After a search I located this article. Looks like these tires are a improvement to the original DuraTracs.

I’m curious how these new Duratracs perform as well.
I see Cooper just came out with a new tire, but a bit less aggressive.

Just picked a new 2023 to replace the 2016 I had…need to replace the stock Dunlops. Primarily highway driven, with the occasional easy to mid level trails in summer, with snow in winter. Have used the KO2 and most recently the Firestone Destination AT that I might go with again.

I ordered a set of these today for my new 2023 ORP. Was on the 4th set of the v1 Duratracs on my old 2010 I just sold… should have them installed next week. Review to come.

Simpletire.com has them weighing 56lbs. Not bad for a E Load Range.

Had these tires put on today. My initial thoughts are very positive. First they are much quieter than my regular Duratracs. A lot better road manners. The vehicle does not wonder all over the road like my old ones. Probably due to stiffer sidewalls. Super impressive so far but its too early to get excited besides the road noise. And yes, they are 285/70r17.

Thanks for confirming. I had pretty much decided on a set of Mickey Thompsons to replace my Yokohamas (which are pretty dead after over 40K miles). These are perplexing though as I've always been curious about Duratracs; almost went with them on my Jeep at one point.
