New Goodyear DuraTrac RT tires

Simpletire.com has them weighing 56lbs. Not bad for a E Load Range.

May be it make sense when running off-road 90% all the time
56 lbs - 39 lbs = 17 lbs
17 lbs x 10lb. of load/1 lb of tire weight 170 lbs of load per tire
170 lbs x 4 tires = 680 lb additional load per vehicle
vehicle weight 6100 lbs on OEM tires 39 lbs calculated 19 mpg
increase of vehicle weight 10% result in same drop economy 10% ~ 1.9 mpg
19 mpg - 1.9 mpg =~ 17 mpg all other factors being equal
may be better to have separate set of wheels for off road
most of the owners with modded vehicles see their economy in 14 mpg
Another update from running my 265/70R17XLs. Honestly loving them so far. Fuel milage is perhaps up a touch versus my previous E-Rated Yokohamas.
On a recent trip to Colorado for skiing we had to drive from Aspen down to Taos, NM in the middle of one of the big snow storms they've had this March. Had some pretty gnarly road conditions with having to go over Tennessee Pass and Poncha Pass in near blizzard conditions. Went by quite a few cars spun off but never once felt like we lost traction running 4HI for about 150 miles straight.
I need to find some time to take them wheeling down here (life has not been cooperating), but definitely happy with my purchase still. Ride and handle on road is probably better than everything else I've run up to this point (Geolander X-AT, Falken Wildpeak AT3W and the Nitto Ridge Grapplers that were stock on my 2nd 4Runner).

After much research and deliberation I decided to go with the the new Duratrac (RT) Rugged Terrain. I was contemplating the BaJa boss but the better tread, side walls kevlar and normal height and width of the XT Duratracs won me over besides having great experience with my old C load duratracs. Its very cool that Goodyear basically made there XL load just like C load with extra side wall layers, makes XL a viable option for off roading.
Haven't driven much, but i was gifted with snow and rain my first day driving and they are way better on wet than the old duratracs which is awesome. They feel great but i need to play with the PSI, thinking 35-38 should be better.
Stupid quiet, but they are new. Also they are just as or even more aggressive than the old Duratracs depending on definition.
I'll be doing a full review once i have more miles and the right PSI in them.

I replaced the 20" wheels and tires on my 2019 Limited with 18" Black Rhino Rapid wheels and Goodyear DuraTrac RT 265/65-18 tires. It made the ride less jarring without sacrificing any perceivable handling. It also greatly improved the look of the vehicle.
We just had almost a foot of snow in one day last week. My snow blower broke, so I did not touch my driveway. When I left, the roads had not been touched. When I came back, they had plowed my street, so I now had the mound of plowed snow at the end of my driveway to climb over to get in.
I never once had any problems. These are fantastic tires.

Following up on my comment. Purchased these right before a 1.2K mile trip back home to FL to replace the stock dunlops (I think that's what came OEM on mine) and when I saw the tire shop worker roll them out I panicked thinking they were going to be loud. To my surprise they were quieter than the OEM tires they replaced. Haven't had a real chance to do any offroading (work+life getting in the way), but they've performed well in wet weather when compared vs the stock tires.
Very pleased with the purchase so far.

Very happy with mine as well. Hadeling on turns is better, still playing with PSI. Only got 2" of snow and of course they did great.
