I need a wakeup call.
Yeah, right.
:welcome:
Rixxer, stay in the light , There are some "masters of the obvious" here,
Good job,
Step 3 Rixxer, Your almost there,
Would this be applicable to a 2001 4Runner's solid rear axle?
I'm in no way interested at this point in deciding on who's correct, as I don't know enough one way or the other, but I think it would be fairly simple to determine whether or not the factory packs the #2 or a more viscous lube.
Where?
I see noone else here who knows anything about this.
You don't even know about this.
Yes frank, we already read that.
Just because you've duped a small handfull of people that DON'T KNOW ANY BETTER, doesn't mean you're right.
And frank, last I checked, the owner of cruiser outfitters, told you to stop harassing him, AFTER telling you that you were wrong, and full of manure.
You use Kurt's statement like it somehow helps you, and it doesn't. Nor was it ever meant to.
And you trying to take credit for cruiser outfitters is a whole 'nother scale of wrong.
What part of " I've seen factory grease, and It's not what you're trying to sell " can't you understand, frank?"Just because you've duped a small handfull of people that DON'T KNOW ANY BETTER, doesn't mean you're right."
Rixxer,
Just because Toyota sales has duped a whole bunch of people that DONT KNOW ANY BETTER
Does not mean they are right either,,,
Get It,
Stay in the light Rixxer,
What part of " I've seen factory grease, and It's not what you're trying to sell " can't you understand, frank?
The manual is correct.
YOU, ARE NOT.
What part of Brainwashed do you not understand Rixxer,,,
You have seen factory grease !!!!!!!!
In the drain buckets of Rigs your fixing for Axle seal failure,,,
The other ones that you seen thick #2 grease inside,,,
A different Grease swapping Brainwashed Monkey of Toyota Sales had already got to it !!!!!
Stay in the light Rixxer,, I know it hurts your head to look @ the white screen and concentrate but you can do it,,,

Haven't you been kicked off of every respectable 4wheeling forum known to man????
Yea I thought so.
Which part don't you understand, frank?
This is completely irrelevant to your truck.
Your rear axle has sealed bearings, and the differential housing is filled with gear oil.
Your front end is independant suspension, with sealed bearings, and a center section that also takes gear oil.
This whole thing applies to 85 and older 4wd toyota trucks, and 97 and older landcruiser, with solid front axles.
And yes, it is EXTREMELY simple.
Me, (and others on various sites) HAVE seen unmolested, factory original, as-built front axles.
frank, has NOT.
He's only seen old, leaking, unkown history rigs, and somehow thinks he's the expert.
Maybee, Maybee not Rixxer,
What Type of grease is in his sealed bearings ?
One that would last a while you would hope, So probrobly not a #2 lithium grease,
Since that is @ the bottom of the Totem pole when it comes to longevity,
So a sealed bearing that a brainwashed grease monkey like yourself that wouldnt ever mess with other than just swap it out,
And try to be a bit nicer Rixxer, kinda snapped @ the dude, it is relevent to his truck,
Maybee he would like a long lasting grease in his drive-lines and ujoints,
And its got CV joints, with a #1 or thinner grease, the thinner of the two greases in his inboard boot,
No it applies to his rig as well, its got grease in it,,, sealed bearings or not,
Which part don't you understand, frank?
