Hey everyone! I've been creeping around here for a long time and decided i'd finally join. This is a great site! Bought another non-rusty 1996 4Runner to replace my '99 Forester after the motor blew on the interstate a week after I bought all new tires, and it had a full tank of gas.... anyway....
Just picked up a Shrockworks bumper off CL from a guy for $325! It's for a Tacoma but the install threads here are very helpful! Any other suggestions regarding the install?

Just great! I'm glad I went for the v6, although the gas mileage isn't the greatest! lol. My issue is that there are no trails around here to test it out on. The closest ones that I know of are at least 4 hours north of here.... :(

Looks real good!! How you liking the snow? Where are you located? I grew up in columbus, miss the snow, dont miss the cold. Really missing Lambeau...
 
Thank you! Went on a lot easier than I thought it would. Still going to have someone weld a few spots. Already out mt snow tires on now i'm just waiting for the snow! I love it up here although towards the end of winter I get totally sick of the weather!
 
I couldn't believe it was that cheap AND close to where I live! Apparently the guy I got it from acquired it in a trade for woodworking that he did and had no use for it. He knew what it was worth but desperately needed money.

Hi, new guy here looking for some chaters on 1st & 2nd 4runners . Im in shawano wi. We have a 88 , and a newly acquired 95 runner . Any one around here knows the ups and downs of these vehicles . Im not to handy on getting around this site, not sure if im even in the right spot?? So hoping for some responders to connect with and will go from there. Thanks , David...
 
Welcome to the forum! Love the older style front ends...5th gen fronts just look a little cartoonish for me (even though I'm going to buy one today!)
