Cut the panhard bar and sleeve it? I was just shopping for new ones....there's something you can do to the existing one?

Make sure it's 3/8 of an inch. You have LC coil is higher than OME 900, 890, 891. How much lift you get on rear. Measure from the center of wheel to the edge of the fender. Which model LC coil you installed? I assume it's OME LC coil right?

I used the LC 8.5 wrap coils. When I lifted it I disconnected the bar and measured the gap when setting on the ground and It was 3/8 of an inch. Is that correct? I'm open to suggestions. I also was scanning the internet and came across a site that sells LH and RH thread weld in heim joints. Looks like I could build an adjustable one for about 50 buck shipped.

I have the list for the adjustable lenght from sonoran steel defence on how height of the lift. I installed the adjustable panhard drop on my 4R. Let me look for the list and I scan a copy.

ryani, that's an awesome looking 4runner! I love the color. And holy cow that lift is tall. I'm curious how it drives after it settles and you get it all aligned.

Also....what year is that? I've never seen a gauge cluster that has the PRND21 in that location.

I believe it's a '97 or a '98. I thought the same thing when I first noticed the alternate location of the PRND2L. I don't remember having one at all on my '96 SR5, but my '02's got it under the speedo.

Also, ryani, that lift looks awesome, great looking truck.

My 98 has the PRND2L in the same place...did they move it when they went to the digital odometer?

Well it has a busy two weeks. I got the lift installed, trans cooler mounted, a complete stereo system ,blue led dash lights and just got done changing the rear front diffs and transfer case oil.

The lift is great! I need to get it aligned yet but I'm letting the coils settle in for while.

The stereo sounds good just need to fine tune the amps.

The best part is... I did it all by myself. No stereo shop no mechanics for me. It gives me a great sense of accomplishment

Next up bumpers and sliders. I have the steel ordered and will be tackling those by the end of the month.

That looks awesome! Now you need some 33"s on there. How is the ride with that setup? How are the c.v. angles with the 882's up front? I thought th L.C. coils came in 7,8, and 9 wraps. Are yours 8 or 9? What are your ground to fender measurements front and rear?

Thanks alot! I have 8 wrap LC coils in the rear. The angles look good. I also put a diff drop kit on the front.

I just ran out and measure my heights the front is 38" to the limited flare
the rear is 40" to the flare but that will drop one more inch with my spare and my tube bumper installed.

The 33's will have to wait. I just got these 32" at's installed. I'm loving them. I came from a titan with a 9" lift and 37's so I'm liking the way the stock gearing pulls the 32's around

eehhh! I see you notice that.......this truck not mine....it's the guy from RI. Mine is worse here Canada this is what we deal up here upnorth. I have this 4R brand new from the dealer twelve years ago will see. I was talking to my friend using my sand blaster in his place. I have to schedule one week end this May went there is no more snow.

Sorry for the Newbie question, but why's everyone so horny about the adjustable panhard bar? Why drop the panhard bar? I've had my lift almost a year now, the rig rides great.......do I really need to reposition this pan hard bar??:shrug:

If the truck aligns well I wouldn't worry about it. I dont feel the need myself to do the pan hard, atleast at this time. It just keeps the axle centered.

Your 4R rear axle is pull to the right when you lifted it. That's why we are concerned to get the axle back to the right place it was...
