And now you have no down travel. Nice. :thumb:I'm running the toytec/eibachs and the bilstein 5100s on the 3rd perch and got exactly 4inches of lift out of it and it haven't had any issues at all. It was a complete pain in the ass to get it in to the LBJ but after using an 8 foot cheater bar to pry it down I made it fit but had to have a second set of hands.

i need to get her washed before i get t4r worthy pics. hopefully up by tomorrow.i didn't measure center of hub to fender (like i should have)--i just measured from the ground to bottom of fender flare. with 265/70/16 i got:
39 1/2" front left
39 1/2" + a fraction front right
(with tundra 5100's on second perch)
38 1/2 in back (land cruiser 8/8.5 wraps)
so i have about an inch of rake from front to back. not crazy about that, but i'm wondering if it will still settle a bit? if anything, i'd prefer to have the back sit a little higher than the front, but after all this, i am not complaining. just happy it all worked!

How did you get the original shock off without unbolting the LCA?!
lol I have never had to unbolt my LCA :/
lol I have never had to unbolt my LCA :/
Should have been more specific... Unbolt the lower ball joint from the spindle.
After months of waiting on backordered Bilsteins, they finally came in.
Tundra Adjustable Bilsteins (5 settings of adjustment) paired with Toytec/Eibach coils (112-620 Toytec/Eibach front coil lift springs for 4runner).
Worked today on removing factory coils/shocks, compressed, and reused top parts with new shocks and coils.
i set the shocks to the center perch (3rd from the bottom--right in the middle). i bolted in the top 3 studs, and then used the bottle jack method on the upper a-arm to get it to droop to fit the new shock.
here's where i'm at:

i can't compress the upper a-arm any further or it makes contact with the coil and acutally prevents it from going in where it should
and the bottom of the shock is still this far away:

i have tried prying with a crow bar, jacking up under the shock to get it to compress up and in, and nothing works!
what are my options???
please help!
p.s.
sorry the stupid pictures are sideways--apparently nothing is working for me today. :ybrick:
Have you aligned it yet? The new angles created by the lift, especially the lost caster, will make for a bad ride. If you had feathered tires before the lift, you had a preexisting problem (ITRE, OTRE, BJ) or just a bad alignment which is now exacerbated by the lift.
i got it aligned again (after i lifted it from the spacers to the new struts). and it made no difference in the vibrations at 60 mph. i only drove it 50 miles between lifting it the second time and aligning it. and it started vibrating right away after i had lifted it the second time.
they didn't put longer studs on it for the spacers--the three nuts just went through the coil spacer. those three nuts just tightened to the upper bracket the same way. unless i'm losing it? they are nice and tight without any play.
