Volk TE37's. At over 600 a wheel I would hate to get a rock chip from off roading. I had 600 a wheel advan RS's on my Evo, trust mr you cry when they get scratched.

Finally made a decision on rims! 17x9 Black Rhino Sidewinders in Matte Black. They do rub a bit more then stock on those inner fender bulges, but no spacers or anything needed. They ordered the wrong center caps, I wasnt into the chrome ones. They have black ones that should be in this weekend but I wanted to put them on anyway. These are +12 offset, not sure on the backspacing they never listed it anywhere.

I really like the look with these wheels and bigger tires. How is the rubbing? I wonder if a leveling kit would help out. They are wider wheels than stock, do they sit more flush with fenders. Any more pics. I like them without the center caps.

Do the TE and SR5 have the same ride height? I would eventually like to put 285's on my SR5 with the stock setup but I'm concerned about rubbing. I currently have 265's nitto tg's and get a slight rub at full lock. How much more do the 285's rub? Considering the TE and SR5 have different stock heights.

Im pretty sure they are the same ride height. I get rubbing as well but only at full lock in reverse. Its quite loud and noticeable, but honestly it doesnt bother me that much since its only in reverse. With a lift, it would probably be fixed. Im just going to go that route.

Do the 285's come close to touching the UCA or is it just the fender liner that gets occasional rubbing?
