New member old 4Runner

Just purchased a 91 4x4 3.0 liter SR5 4dr. Have had to put a lot of work in the front end already and now have sheared off the bolt head that holds the sway bar to the frame causing a loud clatter when I hit bumps. Was wondering if I can remove the sway bar safely and also maybe the rear one as it is going to be used as a town car and off road. Thanks for any input.

Welcome to T4R.
Since you'll be using it on and off road, you could get sway bar quick disconnects.
If you remove them (and a lot of people do) just remember it will handle differently on road.
