I'm a new member on the forum with no experience with 4Runners but wanting to get one for my wife.
One of our requirements will be finding out what models have what types of 4WD options, Open, Limited Slip, Lockers or what is available and how I find out which model has what.
It will be mainly driven on the street but we want the top end stock off road capability too.
I currently have a 96 Jeep GC Limited and a 91 Samurai w/SPOA, 6" Shackles, EZ Lockers front and rear and 4.89 transfer case.
I'll be replacing my JGC soon too and trying to decide where to go there.
I'll start looking for this info in the forum but if you read this and can help it would be appreciated.
