as much as i love diode dynamics turn as tails module. and the innovation of certain products. The bulbs they sent you. are price ok, for the warranty they give you. But on ebay/amazon, i can buy 3 pairs for every pair from diode dynamics. i also have the 921 bulbs they sent you, they work ok. But are vastly beaten by the latest bulbs with 2835 samsung chips, which sell for .. $9.99 a pair on amazon.

I also have a set of the t20/7440 white that they sent you. also beaten by the latest bulbs from other makers at $20.00 a pair or less. I have probably a hundred spare led bulbs lying around that i've bench tested at one point or another.

i will add that the XP50 and XP80 that i have are not from them. i paid $10 dollars for the xp50, and possibly $20- $30 for the XP80, direct from china.

Mine should be here within a couple days. I have a guy at work that deals with diode dynamics and he set me up with a pretty sweet price on the full set so I couldn't resist

looking to do the full package( tail as turn and LEDs for whole car) for 2016 SR5 but the price is so steep. Any suggestions on how to get the price reduced?

I hate to be obstinate here, but are you saying that you recreated their $220 package with their $40 TaT module and $26 in LEDs from amazon?

yes.. you can buy 6 sets of leds as backup if you are worried they will burn out.. in a few years; if you want to spend $220.

Save the extra bucks, If the cheap leds burn out, its still much cheaper then the warranty you get from DD.

Some of the amazon sellers are great in that they will.. give you a full refund for the burned out product. Enjoy! Tat is well priced for what it is, and the innovation behind it.

Repackaged LEDS being sold for 5-10x the price. No way..

larger white goes into the top where the old turn signal used to be

small white is to replace original backup light with something whiter and brighter.
