New owner with a question

Hi everyone I am a new owner of an 05 4runner Sport Edition and was curious if you could tell me if any of the window up or down switches are supposed to be backlit? or is anything on the inside of the drivers door intended to be backlit?

05 sport edition. Excellent choice. Not sure if the buttons light up I will check next time it's dark, but there is a small light that illuminates the lower cubby from just above it.

I have an SR5, and they are not backlit (though I wish they were).

The window switches are not back lit. I noticed this too when I bought mine. Its really dumb as its hard to find the right switch in the dead of night.

I hadn't noticed this until now. Does anyone know if there is an aftermarket solution for these?

Drive it for a few years and your fingers will remember the switch positioning. Not looking down just might save your life one day.

On my '06 Ltd., only the drivers side "AUTO" button is back lit.

aftermarket solution? > yes, install an led in handle above the door switches. it will be powered on all the time vec is running but it give ambient light. theres a thread on it.
