New pics of the rolled '96-I bought it!

I hooked up my winch to the ARB yesterday. Pulled the bumper off the hood to get a look at the engine compartment.

The fan has only 2 blades left on it. Does not seem to have punctured the radiator, but I don't know for sure yet. The cap to the power steering res. is broken off, so I need to refill that before I try to start it.

It HAD HID lighting, I may be able to salvage 1/2 of it. We'll see.....

The front pass. tire is pointing "in" some, I will need to see what is bent / broken under there before I try to move it.

Looks like I will be keeping the truck to wheel it...sorry guys, she aint for parts!

Yup, I like the 5 stars also, and yes, I will be keeping them. In fact, as $ permits, I will be picking another one up for the spare.

Of course, I have not tried to start it yet.....it's a Toyota, so I expect it to be fine.

wow dude that things looks alot worse when looking at the back then i thoguht it was but like brian said good find for only 1k. Well if u decide that ur gonna part it out ill take the ARB and fix it for some added protection...

My ARB had a small dent in it already when I bought it used and I tried a few different ways to try to pound it/pull it out before I installed it, but nothing worked. They are very solid! I think maybe a hydraulic press is about the only thing that would work to straighten that thing out.

When I had my winch hooked up to it, I was standing on the brakes in my '87 and it was dragging me across the yard The bumper didn't budge.

I had to re-position and put the strap on the top loop to get the leverage to bend it back up.

It was wicked fun knowing I can't F it up any more than it already is

If you can salvage the ARB then the whole purchase was worth it already. Nice find man. It also looks like both passenger doors are salveagable which is kinda ironic how that worked out.

I would just take a sawzall to it and take as much bent and broken things off it as possible.

The truck is in the back yard, on un-even ground, so don't really know about the frame. No biggie even if it is bent some. Not gonna be a daily driver anyway

I do plan on caging it, but no plans on paper as of yet. Not sure if I will build one inside the truck, or outside, or even if I am keeping the existing roof or not. Need to see how well the high lift picks up the roof and straightens out the kinks.
It ( and my winch ) did a pretty good job of straightening out the front corner and the ARB is mostly straight now.

So far, the parts list goes like this...and anyone who wants to donate their used parts, ie: marker lights from a clear light upgrade or maybe an air box from a K&N type intake upgrade... please let me know

Driveway pics

Got her started last night and drove it from the back yard.
She has a high idle, but I think it may be a disconnected vac. line somewhere.

I need to find out what's bent underneath, that front tire really digs up the yard...

Cleaned it up a bit. Only cut myself once removing the windshield. Went right through the brand new gloves like butter.
