New project....no more mods on the 4th gen for me!

Picked up a new project yesterday. 1985 4runner built for the desert!

It has a high output 302 from an 87 Mustang mated to a C4 auto trans. Has stock toy t-case with Advanced Adapter plate. Rear is spooled (fun yesterday at Ralphs parking lot!) with cromo axles, front is open with Longfields. Has Kings all around, Deaver springs, and King Hyd bump stops. Fully caged with a cromo cage and bed cage.

Plans are to dial it in for crawling....sliders, t-case gears and front locker, and repair the badly cut rear wheel wells.

No kidding, truck is getting a new motor over the next few weeks, then i am in! Sucks wheeling by myself all the time.

I had been drooling over it for a while, but finally went to see it last week when I was working in the area. The PO was super cool and just wanted it to go to a good home..

New distributor cap, rotor, wires, plugs, alternator, tp sensor set, throttle body cleaned, and base idle set.....running as good as my yota!

Got the badly cut wheel wells fixed today! Used a 3in wide piece of aluminum to straighten and stiffen the area, and Pacer fender flares....looks a lot better and no more sharp edges for the kiddos..

They are Pacer universal flares...they have a bunch of options.
