New Rubber - BFG AT 265/65/18 - Wow!

Just replaced my 265/65/18 Bridgestone Revo2's with the 265/65/18 BF Goodrich All Terrains. Holy crap these BFG's are in a totally different league. Heavier, meatier, larger, massive tread depth. These tires mean business.

I'm not saying the BFG's are "better", just totally different. Less high-way, more my-way.

The iPhone picture quality is not the best...

You have any pics with the revos? I'm torn between revos, these, and the bfg rugged terrains..any rubbing issues with the 265/65? Is the 4r factory or are you running spacers? Thanks!!

My signature has all my mods. But yes i have wheel spacers and 1/2 inch front leveling spacer. In terms of rubbing just minor plastic contact which can be eliminated in about 10 minutes. I think my previous posts have pics with the revo2's. I will see if i can find a link:

BFGs are beefy, that's for sure. What load range are they?

Were the Revo2s P265/65/18 or LT265/65/18? If the former, it's apples and oranges.

The Revo2's were P, the BFG's are LT.

I agree, LT versus P is a major change.

I have about 60k on mine and they have plenty if meat left. They really are pretty bulletproof. Got me out of some slippery situations, that's for sure.

Bought the same tires a couple months ago. Love them! My only complaint, too much grip. How am I supposed to do any snowy parking lot drifts with so much traction?

Yeah gotta love the BFG. Got them on two trucks now. Debating between those and duratracs for my next set come spring/summer for the T4R

Ya i would have considered the duratracs, but no 265/65/18 size that i saw.

I'm debating between these and the DuraTracs... I need a tire that's good on ice/packed snow and want a sidewall that I can be confident with on the rocky trails. By the way, I do love my Silent Armors, but want to up-size and get something a little more aggressive.

I was thinking these but I'm mostly a pavement pounder (little offroad, usually mud when there is). I love the looks but I don't need much snow/ice since I'm in Atlanta and we don't usually get any, but when we do we get tons of ice.

I believe the 265/65/18 size is only offered in load rating E.

Just get them! They wear like iron, will go 50k miles if you keep up with your air pressure and rotate the tires every 5k miles
