Yeah boy. That's badass. The beauty of this design!! Is, you can buy the attachments any time. You can simply purchase just the bumper. Then down the road Buy a swingout. It doesn't have to be welded or anything. Everything is bolt on. Really good and easy design if you ask me. Roy really took his time to design this bumper. Was worth the wait.

Well done! I dig it. How do you secure your jerry cans? Is there something that would prevent someone from walking off with them?

not really.
I ended up purchasing a cable to wrap around the scepter handles and onto the basket itself to secure it.
As in a secure method that was integrated by the fabricator, none was included.

If you guys want a group buy call Roy and ask. He's about as easy to deal with as they come. I already have the rear and he treated me very fairly even without a group buy. The quality is top notch and this thing takes a beating. I've wheeled it hard since putting the rear w/ dual swings on and it's still vibration free. Here's another teaser for you guys:

I like this design because it's one if not the lightest for the 3rd gen along with the modularity of the swingout, which i'll probably get at a later time.

It's light. It's got the best departure angle that I could find. Install is a breeze. Everything just works well with it. The dual swings mean you can open them with less clearance then a single. It does not vibrate or shake at all. It's just really solid.
I'm one of those types that researches the shit out of everything I do. I spent a lot of time talking to various bumper guys, both owners and fabricators. It was a hard choice to make but I'm very happy I went with Savage. For my needs it fits the bill perfectly.

Quick question about the double swingout. Does it go past 90 degrees? I love the idea of cooking out the back of the 4runner, but with the hatch open, all that smoke would go directly into the hatch...

Yes the swingout opens more then 90 degrees.
Yes sir. Mine doesn't move a bit when I off road. I flex the crap out of, go up some serious rutted hills and it never vibrates.
Try to tighten the red handle. Lock it, and adjust the tightness on it. So the swingout is more secured. Also make sure your tire is tight up against the bottom flat part on the swingout.

Mine sways back and forth a little- but I have a 33" spare and 60" high lift mounted on it. If I adjust tightness on the lever to where it mostly goes away if is too tight to open.
I am going to redo the area that tightens to the bumper to eliminate the rubber bumper and make a flat surface to cinch against...

Same here - not in the tension on the red lever.
My lever is facing to the passenger side of standing and looking directly at the bumper. The red handle, end of it is passanger side.
