ok so im not so good and the math part of this... im trying to figure out how to set the speed % of the SC II, how do i do this so i can start accurately calculating MGP?

any other tricks to setting up one of these...

also where have you guys mounted these? im trying to figure out where i want to put my SC II and SCe, so ideas and pics are very welcom

I just installed my SC II recently. I mounted it to the top of the steering column as I've seen others do. It seemed like the most convienient location for me.

As far as the speed percentage, you'll need to try to get it to match what your GPS is reading. On mine with 35" tires, I had to set it at 11%, which put it dead on with my GPS at 70MPH.

OK good, I'm running at 10% with my 305 tires, and that's dead on for me.

How do you guys set up the fuel mileage stuff. I know the first set up you just drive it and don't put anything in for you just leave it blank, but after that fill-ups need to be imputed... And when I tried to put in for the fill up it only does a "%"... I can't figure out how to do the actual gallons fueled... Its confusing

I mounted mine on the headliner using the belt clip from a tape measure I got at the dollar store. I got the idea from a guy on TW.

For my ScanGaugeII I just went to the FilluP screen and corrected what it thought the fillup should be.

In the setup engine displacement, and what not,need selected too.....
