New stereo setup

What's up guys, I'm looking for a new stereo setup for my 3rd gen. So far this is what I have planned out

up front
Infinity Primus PR6500cs 6-1/2" component speaker system — also fits 6-3/4" openings at Crutchfield.com

Back doors
Infinity Primus PR5002is 5-1/4" 2-way car speakers at Crutchfield.com

The head unit will be this

I'll be putting in a amp later on, just haven't decided which one yet. Anyone have any suggestions or tips

I'm looking at getting a double DIN as well. Pioneer is solid. I'm curious why you chose that model, though, instead of a less expensive double DIN Pioneer on Amazon. Thanks!

I believe the Polks for the money are by far the best on the market. Just search reviews and you will see.

Yes. I have a Pioneer AVH-X5700BHS which has a 7" display. Definitely
confirm though as maybe not all 7" displays are made the same

Pretty happy with my Polk DB's, they are also waterproof. Spend some money on sound dampening if possible.

Here's my setup and documentation, I'm really happy with how it turned out.

Personally, I like the Infinity Reference CX line better, the CS is their old line and have too much treble and less bass in my mind. The Reference are much more well rounded. Polk is also a very solid brand. However, brands like Polk, Infinity, Kicker won't sound much better than your average brand without amplification.

As far as amps, if you have an Alpine head unit the Alpine Power Pack is a no-brainer. Super easy install and sounds great. But there's other amps out there that work very well too, just stay away from cheapo brands.

Get a decent amp for sure. I hate to say it but in the past i have bought grey market from eBay vendors with really great success. The retail cost markup is just so high these days. I see the Kappas are $350 at Crutfield. Wow! I don't think i paid more than $200/$250 for mine a few years ago.

I agree ^ I run two 12" woofers and kickers in all of my doors but I run 2 separate amps. 1 for door speakers and 1 for subs. There's a world of difference when you amplify the door speakers
