New Sub - Monster Cable Interference

Whats up guys. So I was installing my Sub (10" Type R) and ran into a snag so I just took it to Cartoys and had them finish it up. Well, ever since, I get interference (static) when listening to my ipod with my Monster cable. Anyone know what caused this? I NEVER had any problems with my monster cable until this.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks in advance!!

cable is bad, somthing inside of it is loose, get some other brand like knukonceptz, better cable than monster and its cheapper with better material used, monster is good but overprice.

And it just happens to be coincidence that my cable goes bad right after I install the sub?

And if the cable is bad. Is there a kit that I can get that also interacts with the stock HU? Something I can plug my Ipod in and control it from the HU? I doubt it but thought I'd ask.

Thanks for all the help so far guys!

Am I the only one who has no idea how this is wired? What knid of cable is your ipod connected with and to where? (front or back of hu) Did you have the power cable and RCAs before or is this an all new install? I'm actually suspecting the interference is from the RCAs or remote if the power wire is isolated.
