NEW TINT pics**

i think you talked me in to it. I gotta wait for the money to come in, Im sure it may be a bit more $$ if they have to remove the old tint. i was so pissed when i first got it, i guess its dark at angles. but seriously 40% is stupid... in utah of all states too??

I know a guy who drives a 7 Series bmw and he has like a 0-5% all the way around, front windshield and all. I guess he knows all the cops so they dont care. but that would suck to drive at the night. but yeah i would hate getting pulled over for something as stupid like that. I think im going to have to chance it. your right the looks are 10x better too

Little tip I got from a friend: if you get pulled over, roll down all the windows, especially the back one. The main reason most cops hate tint is becuase it is alot harder to see the person in the car and what they are doing, and with some of the crazy criminals out there, I don't blame them for hating tint. I mean they walk up to some dark windows, late at night, and they have no idea what is on the other side of the window, could be a gun. I would be nervous, a bit angry, and definitely on the edge.

So when they get someone who is polite enough roll all the windows down and they can plainly see, they feel alot more comfortable approaching the vehicle. and that means they tend to be nice to you and disregard little things like windows that may be a bit too dark. Might even get a warning for speeding too!

That does make sense. but also the cop may think your trying to hide your tint when you roll down the windows... maybe id try rolling the back and one side down. Idk just listing other possibilties but i do like the idea!!

Yeah i hear ya on the $$ part college student budget ftw. and yeah true they will most likely charge for tint removal.. also try searching around on internet on whether someone removed themselves or price shop b4 you finalize it. I got lucky and the guy was laid back and had a few good stories haha. Also, make sure ya got cash since technically he cant give you a receipt since its technically "illegal" or thats what my guy told me, but he still said if i had problems take it to him and he would fix it so i guess i got lucky and found a great place!
:police: <-- saw that one and couldnt help since the subject was on hand...

You should be able to take it off by yourself. I don't think it's too hard.

I have 5% on my windows and 45% windshield tint. Night driving can be rough. You get used to it though.

We have tint laws in Colorado and for the last 20 years all my cars were past that legal tint and with my turbo Eclipse I was pulled over alot and i never fail to roll my window (windows on my 4Runner) and I've never once had a cop mention my tint but our cops are't too much of nazis like they can be in other states.
If the cop can see in your car he probably won't notice the tint.

What a difference tinting the front windows makes! Looks great.

No inspections up here in Washington State, so we can tint away! I think 35% is technically legal, but I've had every one of my cars tinted at 20% or more and the only time I was stop or bugged was when I had my first car tinted with two sheets of limo tint (don't ask, dumb high school kid days).

^^ Agreed thats my opinion also that as long as they can see your figure and not just black you should be fine.
