New tires are in. Old wheels or new wheels?

I got my new mud tires in. I went with an Eldorado MTZ mud terrain. 265/75r16. Made by cooper in Texarkana, AR. The price was cheap, hopefully they will last ok. (at 5000 miles a year it should be fine).



Here is my question. If the guy doesnt sell them out from under me, I can get these wheels on Friday for $300. I have a guy that will pay me $400 for my stock wheels and tires.


Or do I just put the new tires on my old wheels and hope to get around $200 bucks for my under 10000 mile stock 265/70r16 Geolander ats?

I went with the FJ wheels. It was definatly the right decision! I think she looks great with the black wheels. Will look even better when I put a plate bumper on the front!


The tires hum pretty loud but no louder than I would have expected.

You made the right choice... almost. Do those 16" TRD's clear the Tundra calipers?
