Hey guys,
I've been searching around the last few days for some new tires for my 2000 5spd 4WD SR5. I'm currently running 265/70/16 Michelin LTXs that the previous owner used, but think I could do better with something different.
I want something at is all season, but also more snow capable as I live in Southwest Colorado. I occasionally take the car off road for backcountry camping/hiking/climbing access, but wouldn't consider myself a huge off road enthusiast who finds myself in insanely rugged terrain. Another thing I'm planning to do soon is a long road trip from Colorado to all the western states and Alaska. So something with good milage/quiet on the road would probably be beneficial.
What do you think would be best for me? I've heard good things about BFG KO2s and Goodyear Duratracs, but it seems like I've heard very mixed reviews on both. What's the most liked these days? Thanks for your help!
