That retrofit is hot, I have one on my car, been debating doing it on my 4Runner DD.

What if you have a 03-05 headlight style? Which product from Lightwerkz do you purchase?

Although not on the website (LS), you can get RX330 projectors/35W, 4300K with E46R shrouds. I'm looking at these. I'm getting my 2007 Civic sedan retro-ed now, maybe summertime I'll get my 4Runner retro-ed. :snacker:

LS projector only sell as themselves not part of the complete kit.

They imply that to get the really nice projectors, you should just have their professionals perform the retrofit for you (baller parts = baller install). You can probably still get them in a kit if you call them.

Yeah, the width of the beam pattern due to that lower reflector and the LS430 projectors is literally INSANE. It's almost a full 90º on either side.

Alright, I keep promising night shots, but keep forgetting to bring a decent camera with me, so here are some cell phone shots that turned out half-decent for now. Kind of hard to capture the correct look and color with this ****ty camera, but you get the idea -- someday I'll go back to this location (which is pretty cool, a huge abandoned complex on Treasure Island outside SF) with a real camera and re-take these with better lighting.

The headlights are 4.3k Philips; fogs are cheap 3k halogens, perhaps to be upgraded to HID soon too (I already have a spare pair of slim ballasts, just need correct 9006 adapters).

Not to be a Photo Critic.
If you later use an DSLR, be sure not to take a photo dead on like Photo #1, because it'll burn out your sensor on your DSLR.
My friend w/ the IS300 w/ LS430 Projectors...he took the photo at Stonestown Macy's parking lot next to 19th Avenue.
I'd love to see the ultra wide beam against the wall, even though it's probably the sae as my friends.

Yeah I think I know exactly where those were taken, that's not too far from me... once I aim them a little bit better, I'll take spread pics there too.
And thanks for the tip about damaging the sensor on a dSLR, I didn't know that could damage it... luckily I don't care about damaging the sensor for my Droid's crappy camera :bash:
