new to me 02 limited

picked up a 02 limited this weekend. this was the 5th runner I looked at on Saturday. most were absolute junk and overpriced. this was a 2nd owner garage kept runner. 157000 miles paid 7k hatch has a trailer hitch dent very little frame rust. after driving my 92 5 speed for a daily driver the 02 is better in every way. the vsc and tcs have to go. only thing I have found wrong is the front transfer case seal is leaking. I have a toytec lift coming. and need to do basic maintenance I am hoping to have a decent daily driver.

Good for you and welcome to the '02 Limited family! I'm slowly upgrading mine here and there. Basic preventative maintenance then aftermarket.

Very nice! I just bought an '04 Camry with 157,000 miles for $4,500 for my fiancee. So that price for the runner sounds right. Good buy!

the 3.4 and 430 gears seems to make good power especially compared to my 92 3 liter and 5 speed. I am going to drive it for a couple of weeks then it goes on the hoist for front end rebuild lift kit timing belt and por 15 the frame. everything is stock as far as I can tell. the only problem I am going to have is keeping my wife out of it.
