New to me 06 V8 Sport

Picked up an Black 06 V8 Sport this weekend with 40,000 kms (I'm in Canada eh)and love it so far. Reading this forum I already want to mod a couple of things but may wait a little while bc of warranty (I ended up purchasing a 72mth/120000kms NEW ECP...so its like having better than new warranty at a used price...btw got the SUV at black book value so its even sweeter.

The questions I have are:
1. Is there a any mods to make the rear seats recline (I searched the forums and can't find anything). I know they do if you have the 3rd row config but I don't and would like them reclined a little for the kid and wife.

2. Is the door map light mod as easy as it looks and has anyone had a problem with it?

3. Are the Scion H\U that much better (worth it or not) or should I just wait until I break down and pick up a nav unit :biggrin2:

4. Anyone in Canada know of a Canadian shop that I can order the ROSTA seat heaters?

If the 4runner quality is anything like my 93 Camry I probably keep it for 10 years:biggrin2:

I am picking up my 05 V8 Sport this weekend, and I can't wait!


I've been hanging around here looking for great mods and additions to this beast. My last car had the heaters in the seats, and in Maine (like Canada) that's a nice thing to have.

Heated leather seats from Katzkin.com Great seats, comfy and warm, you can also get them ventilated to blow cold air on you butt and lower back for the hot summer months(or month for the Canadian : )

This may sound crazy, but I'm actually looking to heat cloth seats.

The Mrs. doesn't like leather (don't ask) so I've gotta look at cloth.

1. If you don't have third row seats, the 2nd row does not recline. The seats don't slide either.
