As some of you may know I am only 17, and the '04 4runner isn't mine. It's my mom's but we share it, but lately I have been the only one using it. I pay for gas and maintenance, while she pays insurance and the bill for it. The reason is that for the past year we have been looking for a used 4Runner is good condition. Well we found one in excellent condition!

SR5 w/ prem. audio, security, sunroof, spoiler, V6 (3.0)

Brand new wheels along with tires (Goodyear Wrangler RT/S (which I am going to sell to get general grabbers AT2)
new shock in front and back, hitch
almost no rust, everything works great
Wanted 5k, got it for 4k
Retails for over 6k
Everything checks out mechanically, only 2 leaks, the rear diff. seal and the front diff, front diff. being repaired on Monday, rear diff I'll do my self soon.
All fluids will be changed to synthetic soon. Pics will be here sometime later this week, gotta get it back and clean it.
I'm so excited! My first very own 4Runner! I'm betting I can get at least another 100k out of it.
My only problem is the RPM's hey seem really high under moderate acceleration. Like I'm used to almost never going aboue 2.5k, and this goes there all the time, maybe it's because the red line is at 6.5k vs. 5.5k?
