Now that I've reached my 15 post requirement I want to say hello. I picked up a '10 TE Silver this week and so far I really like it. It seems very capable though I really haven't challenged it yet and it is very comfortable while knocking down some decent gas mileage. I looked at these when the 5th gen came out in 2010 and really wish I had bought one then. Probably would've saved me some $$$ as I have gone through a few cars to get to this one.
My previous offroad-capable vehicles included an 89 Toyota 4x4 truck, 89 Jeep Cherokee Laredo, 91 Jeep Grand Wagoneer, 97 & 98 Wranglers, 99 & 00 Cherokees, and a '12 Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon.
Anyway, I am looking forward to learning what this forum has to offer. I'm taking it to the dealer in the morning to check out what I think is a wheel bearing going bad and I'm getting new BFG AT KO2s put on Thursday. It has an almost new set of Long Trail TAs on there but I don't like the street tire appearance and I do not want to wait on them to wear out.:happy:
