2001 SR5 2WD auto
I’m a new forum member with a new to me 2001 SR5 2WD auto. 143k on the odometer. It was a dealer owned vehicle (never titled) until 2003. It was owned by a husband (died in 2006) and wife until I became the second owner almost a month ago. The previous owner bought a new Highlander to replace the T4R. She left the T4R in the garage (one car) until it sold. She left the new Highlander in the driveway. Priorities :dance:
Extensive service history, all documented and performed at Toyota of Glendale. It was almost purchased from a “little old lady from Pasadena”, but she was from about 20 miles east. :lmao:
I did an extensive pre purchase inspection using the information from the sticky. Not an ounce of rust anywhere. Timing belt and WP done at 90k. No records on LBJ’s or radiator, so they’re on the to do list. Just watched the appropriate mbtim videos.
She runs and looks great. Has a little more play in the steering wheel than I’d like, so I’m researching my options. Outer tie rods seem tight, rack bushings and steering shaft play are high on the list.

New here - guess I'm going to have to work on my 15 posts. Have a p1633 code on an '02 4runner that I wanted some advice on before dropping $400 on a new ecm...have searched hours for content but am pretty stuck...
