Hey all, how's it going? I've been looking to get into a 4Runner for quite some time now. I have a 2013 Ford Fusion, but the car has been nothing more than a headache. I've been looking at '08s and newer. Found a really nice one that I'm hoping to look at this weekend and possibly buy. It's a southern vehicle, so hopefully it will be saved from the harsh chemicals we use on our roads up here in the north. Anyways, thanks for having me and hopefully I can become a 100% full-time member when I pull the trigger on a 4Runner :hello:

I think you are on the right track, taking some time and find a T4R that has not been overexposed to the salt and other junk that are put down on the road in wintertime.
You will be happy in the long run if you don't rush in and buy one of the first that you see. Personal experience speaking here :blah:

Joining any community is like a trend in these days sometimes people joined for getting some entertainment but sometime they want to get useful information and knowledge from other community members. Good news....! Bought a 4Runner today. It's a 2008 with 85k on the odometer. It was meticulously maintained. Oil undercoating was done by the previous owner, so the frame is so clean you can eat off it (if you don't mind oil :lmao: ). It does have some very very very small bubbling under the rear window seal in one spot, so I'll be getting that fixed. Other than that, no rust. I'm beyond excited to pick it up tomorrow!
