Help. Got new wheels and tires for my 09. Method nv305. Installed the fronts and noticed , I have a little less thread off the stud to grab. Is that ok? About 1/4 inch, maybe a tad more. I can still torque it properly...

Is there 1/4” of thread above the surface of the lug holes? If so, you should be okay because the nuts are threaded to about 1/2” below the surface of the lug holes. I’m assuming you have more than 1/4” of stud sticking out of the brake rotors. There is about 1.5” of threading inside the lug nut.

Did you buy acorn extended thread lug nuts or are you using the shank style ones like in the picture above?

From my notes, here you go:

Longer front wheel studs needed in order to run wheel spacers
2003-2006 matrix or pontiac vibe, 55mm long.
AWD matrix Toyota P/N 90942-02078
Dorman 610463 from a 2004 Matrix $1.42 each
$34 shipped (qty 20) from Rockauto or $39 amazon

I didn’t need longer wheel studs on my 2004.

I looked up the wheel and they require acorn lug nuts. I see you ordered gorilla acorn nuts. You shouldn't need longer studs as ads2539 mentioned.

So what exactly is going on? Need a few more pictures of your issue.

Long story short, they need to look like the ones on the right, not the left. This is a generic photo ignore the measurements.
