I like your thinking! But why not just throw a diesel in and call it a day?!?! Shoot, I just wish the pink unicorn TRD supercharger had appeared from la la land by now so I could be putting one of those in when she goes back together...

One week after the ordeal and all's well
Finally picked her back up the weekend before last and after a week of driving, thankfully it's so far, so good. No fluids where they shouldn't be and haven't noticed any rattles coming from the front end so dont think I ended up with any free tools under the hood. Since the engine was mostly disassembled I got new gaskets and seals all around, a new radiator, a coolant flush, and a second oil change for $71 bucks (the price of the synthetic oil change, etc I had done before the road trip)! Had it not been under warranty the bill would have been close to $2500 so thanking my lucky stars that I bought the extended warranty and we found the leak before I hit 100k!!!
