Don't know and don't waste your money.

Welcome, I do not have first hand knowledge but I read quite a bit. Except for a few minor changes like seat belt warning etc., the '08 is the same as the '07. It should fit. There's a few threads that show the T4R doesn't respond' well to the K&N (not much improvement). Some other threads will argue the K&N Filter doesn't trap dirt as well as should. I speculate that has a lot to do with the frequency of service and the operating environment. Freshly serviced K&N do stop the dirt. How often do you have service it? I don't know but I would half K&N's recommendation. If you like the extra woosh from the intake then do it, just service it a lot and know there's other intakes besides K&N too. The preceding, unsolicited announcement is all IMHO!

I've used K&N's on bikes for years. With frequent service they work well.

Good Luck!

I've personally tested a few CIA's on the Dynojet and they produce slight or next to nothing in HP unless you are running it on a forced induction car.

That was my point , didn't mean to be brash in my other post, sorry.

thanx bro, so what are other good filter for toyotas or what do you recommend?

For my needs I don't have much interest in a CAI for my T4R so I haven't studied brands closely.

I would suggest searching this area of the forum:
http://www.toyota-4runner.org/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=8

After you enter 'aftermarket CAI', 'aftermarket air filter', 'aftermarket K&N' or 'aftermarket air inlet' scroll down a bit and limit the search to the performance area of the forum. It'll help you to get to what you want quicker.

This might be worth a read too, good luck! :bigok:

I really like my AFE coldair w/ prodry (non oil filter). ($300) Great throttle response and roar when you floor it- I noticed the horsepower and torque claims the second I put it on. Easy install too.
