Newbie here! looking at a 2007 4runner...

Hey everyone... Great board by the way, lots of information here...

One question...

Looking at toyotas web page it loks like the 4runner has the option of adding Sirius Radio, but not XM...

I did find web pages and info on here that pointed to other ways of getting XM, like... http://www.coastaletech.com/

But I do not see anything for the '07


No need to get into the XM vs. Sirius debate please...

Thanks for the info... I guess Ill ask the dealer tomorrow when i go check one out...

Also with reguards to coastaletech, notice on the aplication webpage :

They list the GX470, and their 'device unlocks a lot more then what it unlocks for the 4-runner... I thought the GX470 and the 4runner were the same?!?!

The radio head is different on the GX as compared to the 4Runner. Look at the dashboard pics on lexus.com. On Lexus, the radio head unit only has the controls - the display screen is separate. On Toyota, it's a pretty standard double-DIN all-in-one head unit. But the nav software is the same, regardless of the form factor.
