Hey guys/gals, i just bought a 1998 Toyota 4Runner SR5 for $4000...what you guys probably won't believe is that it only has 54,700 miles on her. She's in great condition. I have to get some seals checked out on her tomorrow and just get an overall inspection done by a dealership. I had her checked out by a mechanic, and the seals were the only issue because the car sat so long in a garage. If everything is good with her, i guess i'll be hanging out here for awhile to get some ideas on how to take car of her. I've never owned an SUV, but needed one for the family and the dog. So hello again, and if you guys have any tips for me or questions, feel free to chime in...

Yes. I didn't know how rare that was... Just happened to be in the right place at the right time. My car was getting fixed and I told someone that I was looking for a small pickup to do home Depot runs. They told me about the 4runner.i didn't trust the mileage so I carfaxed it and called up the dealerships where it got serviced at... Everything checked out. So I bought it.

How's the frame and all around rust factor?
Frame was incredible, that's exact wording from my mechanic. A tiny bit of rust on that chrome bumper part... You in Jerzee? That's where I live
