newbiee :]

imo id hit it with some bedliner, tho im anti chrome lol, I did all my emblems, a strip on the hood, plastic on the rear bumper, and the latch/trim on the rear hatch. I think it turned out nicely. Going to do my bumpers and trim at somepoint too. great looking truck btw

I used a spray can of dupli color bedliner. Honestly I dont know how much of a difference there is between the two. the bedliner was readily available here, I would have had to order the spray on plasti dip which is why I went that route.
with the glare in the pics, it doesnt look like it came out that dark but it actually did, everything blended in pretty well.

That looks good man nice job!
Think ill go with that then unless someone convinces me otherwise.
Ill spray the emblems, front grill maybe the rear bumper still debating haha.

Planning on painting the skid and tow hitch since they seem kinda aged already any ideas what to use for that?

jk about the skid forgot fightman cleared that up for me haha

man starting to regret getting these chrome wheels! shoulda went black bahaha >.< oh well

just bought 3 cans of Plastidip from Home Depot for 5.98 each >.<

Gonna start tmmrw on emblems and front grill. :D pics later!

Thanks, yours should look good aswell, most use plasti dip, all the pics posted on here look really good. Since your regretting the chrome wheels, just paint em- theres a few how to threads on here its really easy and also cheap- i did mine for 20 bucks lol. Looking fwd to seeing pics after your done.

just stumbled upon you build thread its kinda hidden with the title lol!

Nice looking rig you got there it just makes me dream of having that Toytec lift! one day... haha. I did have a question though with the centercaps you left out of yours wheels where they the ones the stick out like mine?

haha thanks thanks.
&yeah they stick out sorta like yours but they are chrome as well so they stand out alot but I'll try plastidip'ing them just to see what it looks like maybe tmmrw :] bahaha.

Plastidipped the rear emblems and I realized I was missing an SR5 badge and turns out my older brother was in the process of debadging the truck but he never got to finishing the job so yeah thats the story ahha x]

Did an alright job on it considering it was my first time painting anything.
The hardest part was probably peeling the insides of the letters haha. prolly gonna PD the whole rear bumper when my OL bumper gets on the truck hehe. :]

Looks Great man! Just one suggestion......as I wish I had done this.....spray the plastidip with some clear coat spray. Makes it easier to clean.......my lower valance is a PITA....wish I would have known that before installing it on my truck!

nice looking lift! where did you get it done? also where did you get your tires?

I am in Irvine shopping around.

Thanks! :D
I'm in San Diego area so little lower bahah.
Umm Toytec Ultimate Lift Kit purchased online, installed by my buddy who is a mechanic.

Tires are Nitto Trail Grapplers 285/70/16
Bought those at Discount Tire Co.
Think they should have one of those somewhere up in Irvine area too haha.

Hey fightman, Any recommendations on which clear coat to use? I want to clear mine after I spray, but I dont want it to shine.
