Newby with 08 4Runner

Just put my 96 T100 to sleep. Actually donated the truck to a guy who saved me off of the side of the road. Spent 3k dealing with an intermitent ignition problem. Replaced computer, igniter, plugs, wires, coils, and had massive checks done on ignition, Fuel system and more. It died on the way to CA from CO. I got to the Bay Area and ended up just buying somethiing new to me. I beleive that the last thing that could have been wrong is that the ignition interrupt of the after marketing alarm was causing this issue. I sent all of the paperwork, and the title to the guy who scooped me off the road side with my luggage, 2 dogs, and a dead T100.
I am now the owner of an 08 4Runner with 40k miles. Glad to find you guys and look forward to a long friendship. KYLE

I kind of remember the T100. It was suppose to be Toyota's big truck, but it had a 4 cyl or a V6.

You should love the 4Runner. I really like it that 08's in that they all have side & curtain air bags. And no 4 cyl., they saved that for 2010.
