Newmember-Help with Exhaust for 2008

Hello, I have looked at Advance Auto Parts and they referred me to Exhaust Pro or Jiffy Lube. There they gave me some suggestions. I know-of Borla, Flowmaster, Gibson, and some others. However my thing is that I want a beefy-deep sound but I don't want a buzz or annoying noise inside, or least as possible. I looked up Flowmaster(s) website and they had the Series 50 which seemed to be like the ideal 4runner setup. Obviously the Series 50 SUV would seem to work but does anyone know if the Series 50 DH would work on a 4runner?? Also how much work/cost would it be (roughly, estimate, guess) to have double exhaust pipes (one one either side out the back) ?

Also I talked with Trail Blazers/Exhaust Pro:

Would need to know length and width of muffler.
Would also need to know orientation. Offset/Centered inlet and outlet

so can someone help?
Haha I measured the pipes from standard muffler to the exhaust and diameter was around 8in so i devided by pi and got 2.50. So I'm guessing that would help but any other suggestions?

Also do Borla(s) sound good on only V8(s) or would they sound alright on V6????

Hey there, Fundamentally, there won't be much difference for the noise level inside your cab given you are looking at virtually all cat-=back exhaust systems. I personally like Borla's sound. I installed my Borla cat back dual side exit exhaust with a buddy in less than two hours( instructions included) no welding, voids warranty. Given some tools and a jack with stands are available to you. The most difficulty I encountered was on the flange to the cat, the bolts were siezed pretty good and took a generous amount of PB break free and an overnight sit. Your 4R is newer and shouldn't be too bad. Price is a little higher, I paid 840 for the Borla system Part # 140036.

I have been very happy with the Borla on my v8
great sound around town
on the highway its fairly quiet except under load or going up a hill
inside the truck there is no "drone" more of a growl under acceleration
