nFab steps or Dee Zee / Iconic boards on a Limited?

I might be in the market for a new Limited and will need some running boards / steps for my wife. I occasionally throw kayaks on the roof of my Trail, and the full running board is nice to step around and onto the tire when mounting them.

Given the choice, which would you purchase: nFab or Dee Zee / Iconic? Those of you with nFab, how do the steps compare to having a full running board?

I'm not certain about the newer model 5th gens, but my 2011 limited can only fit n-fab steps by chopping 5 inches off of the rocker panels. I think that still applies with the current limiteds? So unless you want to get an angle grinder and chop off 70% of your rocker panels, maybe ionic or dee zee for the limited. The Trail editions allows you to put n-fabs on without any mods I believe. Now to answer your question; I prefer the look and feel of the n-fabs myself, they seem to feel more solid than the stock running boards. I'm not familiar enough with the two other brands mentioned

I saw a number of people had to trim, but it looks like there was enough interest that nFab created one that fits on 10-16 Limited without trimming :banana:
