Nihkon, you're 4runner is amazing! One of the best i've ever seen IMO. As far as the projecter conversion you did, how does it work? Are they just generic projectors bought from The Retrofit Source that can fit into any vehicle? I have never heard of those before, but they look awesome on your runner.

As for the projectors...yeah, the Mini H1 kit that I got from The Retrofit Source are basically universal projectors that can be installed into various headlight housings. I say "basically" because you do need to specify which headlight bulbs your vehicle has, and they supply the necessary parts to make it work for your headlight housing.

I know you have been looking to regain some of your rear ride height and weight carrying capacity, and I'd recommend going with the ome 861 rear coils. I have a CBI rear swingout and the lc 8wraps and they are not holding the weight. In fact I think the 891s would be better. I have a set of 891s for sale and have been thinking about swapping them our real quick to see if they are any better but I don't think it would be worth my time...

Do Not waste your time with the Superflex coils with the carrier and fullsize spare. My views and experiences are documented in my build thread along with the Superflex coil discussion thread in this section also, so i wont get into it here. More or less, they cant handle the weight. I'm on 8.25/8.75 wraps and am really happy with my current setup.

I agree, 861's.
Dont do it. I've had 891's and although they hold weight, its actually not much more than stock before it sags...
I agree with Nate, I had the 891's, and swapped them out for Superflex springs which held up awesome before I did a bumper and tire carrier. With just the bumper, the superflex springs still held a perfect rake, even with load (about 400 extra pounds).
As soon as I put the 33" spare on, it sagged 1/2" without any camping gear or tools. I couldnt justify spending 300 bucks for new springs because the superflex springs werent even 6 months old yet....so I stacked a 1 1/2" spacer on them and called it a day.
With my experiences, I'd go with the OME 861s.

And yeah, I'd say pass on taking the time to install your 891's.

Thanks for your input dude. They might do ok with the load, but I'm just not too happy with the ride height in the rear.I've had the 891's for years now. They were what I bought originally in my 1st lift setup. I think they do pretty damn good with the loaded up rear.

Sounds like it's heavy full size spare that's really the problem here. Don't ya just love that when you change one thing, and it requires you to change something else?! haha
After the multiple recommendations for the OME 861's, I did a little research on them and they do seem to offer the height, as well as the added weight capacity. Sounds like they might be the answer I'm looking for. Thank you everyone who's given their advice here! I really appreciate the help!
I have a follow-up question though....
I currently have Bilstein 5125's in the rear. Are those shocks going to be appropriate for the OME 861's?

What are the lengths of those 5125's you have? I think it was J-Money who had a shock too short, and one day he flexed it and tore the shock...

I called up Toytec to ask about running my current Bilstein 5125's with the OME 861's and they said it won't be an issue. So I ended up ordering the 861's. Thanks for all your input guys!
In the year and a half that I've owned my 4Runner, I've never done any night time wheeling...until this past weekend. My Vision X foglights do work well in the fog, but are virtually useless for lighting any kind of distance on the trail. (Not that I expected them to.) The HID headlights are also useless when driving with the low beams on. They're almost dangerous actually since the cutoff makes everything above the cutoff basically pitch black. With the HID's set to highbeams, they actually do a pretty good job, with fairly decent distance. But I certainly ran into a few situations (say, going around a bend) where having a wider beam would be helpful......so I made a couple purchases:
"Ditch light brackets" from CBI. These things are beefy!
To go along with the light brackets, I picked up a set of Rigid Industries Dually's. This is my first set of LED lights, so I don't really have anything to compare them to...but the build quality looks to be top notch on these things! The wiring harness is pretty much plug-n-play. The dually's come in flood or spot configurations. I opted for flood.
