you making me wanna get 34's now lol,was thinking about getting sst pro..how much body mount chopping to fit those 34's ..any pics?

I was tempted to do the samething on my 4th gen. But glad I went with the 33's. They fit the wheel well perfect and I only have to trim the front fender liner a few inches. The 34's are also $50 more a tire. Either way you will be happy. The c-rated are very smooth on the road.

No, it will rub without trimming the fender liners. There are plenty of posts on this thread, and the lifted trd pro thread that answer the fitment questions.

What PSI is everyone running their C-rated ridge Grapplers at? Mine were mounted by discount tire at 35PSI but hear some are running between 39-42. I'm interested in road and highway use psi.

I am running the 285/70/17 C version. Cold they are at 40psi and seem to do nicely on the highway and roads.

One observation I have is that they get hot when driving and the psi will actually go up by 2 or 3.

So 35 or 40? I guess the difference would be negligible.

I had 265/70 ELoad Duratracs on my 4th Gen and had them at 44PSI, so I'm sure a CLoad at 35 would feel much softer.

Got to soft sand test the new 34" Ridge Grapplers. They did very well, especially since they're at 34 psi. I would have air downed if I was planning on all day but just went for a couple hours with my son so "he" could play with his Axial RC Crawlers. Also stumbled upon a clueless tourist that apparently thought their rental Mustang was a 4x4. That took a solid 30+ minutes of digging the entire car out as they were to the frame front to back. We couldn't access their tow hook, which btw they don't have in the rear just in case you guys are ever in this situation as reversing them out was the only option. lol

beautiful truck.. and what a beautiful place to get to drive it around.... someday

Thanks bro but it definitely has it's pros/cons like everywhere else. Biggest being 850K for a median price home here

Yes locally. Ordered through Maui Off-Road and took about 2-3 weeks

Finally got my lift installed. Next up bigger tires. Really like the aggressive look of these tires and the reviews sound great. Having a isssue with the weight factor. I use my 4Runner as a daily driver and don't want to lose the gas millage or power from a heavier tire. Like to hear some input and thoughts on members running these tires on gas miiage and any loss of power wit heiver tire. Plan on running a 285/70/17. My seacond choice in a bigger tire would be the Grappler G2's which I believe are 11lbs lighter. Also heard Nitti is working on a lighter version of the Ridge Grappler, anyone else hear that rumor. Thanks in advance.

Once you go up in tire size, you will lose gas mileage. It's inevitable. Some more than others. If you're really concerned with gas then you likely shouldn't change a thing.

My friend just went offroading for the first time with these Ridge Grapplers and already experience a slashed sidewall. Load E at 20psi. Something to consider.

Do you have any pictures of the damaged sidewall??? Really wanted to upgrade to these but now I'm second guessing them.
