Nitto Ridge Grappler?

I am going to be lifting my truck with a 2.5/1.5 Dobinson lift with 17x8 wheels, -10 offset.

Will the 285/70/17 Ridge Grapplers fit without issue? Or should I go to 3"?

Pretty similar to my setup. I had some rub so did a BMC. I’m also running JBA UCA’s.

Before I make a decision on replacing my ST Maxx's with these, does anyone feel that they have a pull with these tires? Or do they track nice and straight?
I've gotten 4 alignments over the past year and a half and I more than likely have a tire pull to the right at this point. I only have 8000 miles on them and can't stand it.

Deciding between the 285s or the 255s.

Mine doesn't pull they tend to wonder or float on freeway speeds.

I like them though. I'm planning on buy another set but going to run 35x11.5R17 C rated versus the 35x12.5X E rated; I have now...

I have no pull or drift with the RG's on my 5th gen. They track straight and are smooth and quiet still with almost 30k on them. No special alignment sorcery needed either, just a caster split of about 0.5* (more caster on the passenger side).

I also run 255/80/17 ST Maxx on my 4th gen. To get them to drive straight, I had to align it with a 1.2* caster split (Left-3.1*, Right-4.3*). Yours may require a little less or even a little more.

I have about 20k miles on mine, C rated 285's and concur with gm350. No drifting and are really quiet compared to my previous STT Pros. Great on wet road and have worked great at the offroad parks around here. They don't even look like they have started to wear yet either, which is awesome.

Thanks for this tip. I'll have to keep this in mind in the future. Wish I would have asked for this before but I think I'll be happy with these new tires.

Thanks for the help, y'all. I visited Discount Tire a few minutes ago and told them my issue. They were helpful and understanding.
They credited me for my ST Maxx's and I'll be paying $350 on my end out the door for 5 for these Ridge Grapplers. Decided to go with 285's and I'll possibly have them mounted by Friday. He was cool enough to throw one they had next to my current tire. The wider stance looked great compared to the skinny. Still a fan of it though.
Overall I'm just happy I'll probably get this issue situated and have a great tire.

Got them mounted yesterday. I love these tires already. Smooth ride, unbelievably quiet, and best of all, no pull! Hardly any effort in steering wheel corrections and it feels just like the first day I purchased the vehicle. No more Coopers for me with my experience.

I totally agree. Love my 285s. Much quieter than my Toyo AT2s were.

Just picked up a set of four 285/70/17 C ridge grapplers. I am having my toytec boss lift installed on Fri and cant wait to get them mounted. Had the ridge grapplers in stock size before and loved them, then upgraded to 275/70/17 bfg ko2. Anywho, got the set of ridge grapplers for a great price from tirebuyer. used 7% off coupon, $100 off rebate from nitto, and my credit card is giving 5% off this quarter for paypal transactions. Ended up paying $775 for four grapplers. Awesome price!

Care to share that coupon please?
