I clay barred it by hand, did both polishing steps with my DA machine polisher, first coat of wax with the polisher and the second coat by hand. It's a very time consuming task. I washed, dried, and clay barred it Friday night, polished and waxed Saturday, and did the second coat of wax on Sunday after the first coat of wax cured. The downside of detailing SUVs is that they're big and it takes a lot longer.

Installed the stock fog light housings I bought off [MENTION=77471]kevinpt[/MENTION]. Looks 20x better than my originals. Both had failed seals which took moisture in, plus they were foggy as hell. Putting it on the ramps allowed me to sit and kneel without having to lay underneath.

i also put mine on the ramps when installing my new ones. how long did it take to take the first one off?
my first one took like 25 min and the other was around 5.

Yesterday I looked under there for a few minutes to see where the clips are and was going to do it but it started to rain. So about 10 minutes for the first one today and 10 for the second one because I pulled the fender liner open to make it easier to access one of the clips. It was worth going through all that because with that angle it came off very easily. It looks like you took off the adjustment screw on the passenger side one? Just cus it was upside down, no biggie lol

Made the screen blue last night. I like it a lot in contrast to the white! It was my first soldering experience, and I thought it was pretty fun. Next I gotta do the indicator lights.

I have the exact opposite setup for mine. White Screen with Blue knobs. It's just something about the white and blue.

Both front wheel bearings conveniently decided to act up at the same time, with the driver side being much worse. The dealer quoted me $675 a side and I declined. I ordered full hub bearing assemblies from Blue Pit Bearings | 2003-2009 Toyota 4Runner Complete Front Hub Wheel Bearing and installed them myself in my driveway. I would highly recommend ordering from this site, Andy shipped them out very fast (I ordered at 11:30 pm and they shipped out the next day, I received them 3 days after ordering) and was very quick to respond to e-mails with questions. I spent an extra $50 per side to get OEM parts ($279 each).

Thanks, I never thought they looked small, but some pics may indicate that. Everything looks better in person anyway (I've had numerous people ask if they were 33s). Good luck with your lift, looking forward to seeing some pics if you post them up! Also, if you have an '05 you likely have the Stratosphere Mica color. Nautical Blue Metallic came out in 2006 but the colors are very similar and I've found that you can only really see the difference in the sun.

Replaced my passenger side upper ball joint because of the damaged threads on the old one. The Pitman Arm Puller must have bent the bottom of the threads very slightly, enough to not be able to put the nut back on.

I love it so far. Had it on since October and it's been great so far. I actually never took measurements on it but I'll take some measurements tomorrow and report back.

Sorry, took longer than expected but I was able to get the measurements today. I got from ground to fender.
Rear (Both): 38 1/2"
Front (Passenger: 38 1/4"
Front (Driver): 37 3/4"
