Non-Locker for Locker

4Running Daily

New member
Looking to trade a whole rear axle with open diffs to an elocker.

Basically I provide the labor, all you do is show up, I take both axels off, swap the brakes over, remove elocker ecu etc from yours, put my axle with your brakes back on your runner. You leave with a non-elocked 4runner and $500 in your pocket.

Anyone not use their elocker and wants a little extra cash?

curious as to why you want a factory locker? or a used locker at that for the amount of trouble and money you are willing to shell out. sorry i am new to the Toyota world (GM truck guy) but an aftermarket locker is cheaper than $500 and probably better.

Elockers rock. Any aftermarket locker he's going to get for $500 or less is going to be an automatic, which isn't always ideal.

Hey OP, if you watch the ads long enough you can generally get a used elocker and actuator for $400, is it the axle modification you're trying to avoid?

i hear yea, just seemed steep for used factory parts. i guess i'm just used to lunch box mechanical lockers from my days as a GM guy.

Look on ttora, always an elocker on their classifieds.

I have. Haven't gotten any responses from them.

I don't even care about modification, that's easy. I just want a locker, and can't find any that are available.

I found one in Mississippi. No rust, 88k miles. They want 1000 for the whole axle plus shipping.

Ya I can just buy an ARB for that.

the toyota elock is one of the best locker you can find, i'll find you one around norcal, i see them all the time.
