Non-OEM trans fill plug gasket?

Hi, adding a trans cooler and will need to top off the fluid but nobody in Cincinnati carries the 90301-15004 fill plug gasket.

Anyone know if I can get one on Amazon or elsewhere? Toyota said 5 days to get some from Chicago. Said they do all their fills using the pump attached to the trans hoses. Advanced Auto Parts had nothing compatible either.

Ha, yes. They have some generic diff/trans washer assortments but none that match the correct part number. Looking for something maybe someone else has used?

eBay is the only non dealer place I can find that part number.

Are you sure it's a gasket? If you are talking about the large 24mm fill plug near the tail of the transmission I believe it's got an o-ring that is reusable. Remove it and verify.

Here it is from the DIY sticky. I kinda need to know if it’s replaceable before I remove it. Sticky calls it a Fill Plug Gasket, Toyota calls it an o-ring. Sticky does not say it’s reusable neither do the videos I’ve watched.

It's an o-ring and it's reusable.

I’ll second this. It’s also the fill plug, not a lot of pressure from gravity or pump trying to push through.

Get the replacement if you want but you can proceed with the job and then replace it when it arrives.
