Someone posted a pic from Bald Mountain, it looks like a stock 5th gen with stock P rated tires, seems challenging enough.. could be an idea for the next run

Looks like yall had a good time out last weekend! Bummed I had to miss. Ended up flying back to the Midwest for a float trip. I am looking at heading out this weekend for Signal peak or something else in the area. Anyone potentially interested in a trip? Just got my new sliders (thanks Brian!) and want to break em in!

Hey anyone have a recommendation on a disbursed camping spot up by Burney Falls? Taking the wife to Lassen for our anniversary next weekend and don’t want to pay the premium for overpopulated campsites at the falls! Thanks

I want to break in the slider in not my whole truck!! haha but if anyones interested, I wanted to find a trail which is hard and has a good spot to camp/swim at the end. Might be looking at doing Buck lake and some of the trails around the end of the Rubicon (Ellis, Blackwood, do the Rubicon until I cant)

Just want to get out this weekend and don't really care where! Just need to keep the lady happy so its gotta have great camping and a swimmin hole!

Now that you mention it, I would be interested in taking on the Rubicon from the Tahoe side if youre interested. Just being careful about it, having someone there to pull out and not trying anything that has no chance of success... Only expecting to make it so far :second:

Never been up there, but i'd imagine you'd only find dispersed camping in Lassen NF. Not that State park..
